In the last past years, we have noticed an increase of the presence of Canadian companies & institutions in Africa. The latters play a crucial and determining role in the economic development process of African nations.

This is the reason why our Afro-Canadian organization would like to pay tribute to them during the 2020 REAL GAINDÉS' Ceremony.

For your information, GAINDÉ means LION in a West African language called Wolof. Therefore, a REAL GAINDÉ embodies values such as the majesty, the admiration, the courage, the determination, the leadership, the perseverance, the respect, etc.

Therefore, in 2020, among the award-winners, Canadian companies & organizations will be in the spotlight. Indeed, we will be celebrating Canadian firms and organizations working in Africa, profit & not-profit entities that have had a positive impact on the continent.
